Pick-Up & Delivery for cleaning orders of 80 square feet (minimum) or more.
Rug Cleaning
Specializing in handwashing of wool or silk, handmade rugs. We work on rugs with smoke damage, moth damage, odors, color-run, new or antique rugs, and machine made woolen rugs. Our cleaning method is an in plant, wet-cleaning process that includes the following inspection of all rugs:
Ten Point Inspection Check:
- Measure Rug.
- Material Content.
- Condition of Fringes.
- Wear patterns, pile crushed, bruised or frizzed, swirled, matted, missing, and white knots showing through worn pile.
- Look for spots, stains (urine check), and odors.
- Condition of the sides.
- Visible weakness: holes, splits, raveling, previous repairs, and patches.
- Moth or carpet-beetle damage, and mold & mildew damage.
- Condition of backside, check frame for brittleness or not.
Turn around time is usually 6-8 working days. Inquire about sooner delivery time if necessary.

Repair / Restoration
Securing of fringe ends and rug sides. Mend raveling areas, rug alterations, and add new fringes, Pick-Up & Delivery is available.
Weaving
Reweave holes in handknotted rugs (rugs with piles), Khilims, Navajo rugs, and Soumaks; also, weft-wrap flat weaving for etched or old worn rugs.
Storage
We can provide storage for rugs with proper wrapping and periodic maintenance. We will store and care for your rugs for three months while you build your new home, or an indefinite time period.
Appraisals
We do written appraisals for insurance or estate purposes and damage evaluations with repair estimates.
Underlayment
We carry pad rugs for on carpeting on bare floors. We also install.
